Future Bodies

General human enhancement

This is a GREAT curated reading list from the How We Get To Next series. We recommend this as an excellent, broad introduction to current developments in human enhancement technologies (2018 – various reading times)

The Guardian ran this piece titled “What will our bodies look like in 100 years?” the week before we premiered the show in Manchester (September 2018 – 20 min read)

Joint Academies Report on Human Enhancement and the potential impact on the Future of Work (2012). This is a BIG sixty page report for anyone wanting to go much deeper into the subject and a perspective on how enhancement technologies could change how people work. Even though it’s a few years old it’s an excellently thoughtful consideration of implications, particularly related to policy making.
